The mission of the Professional Development Unit at TUELC is to provide supportive PD opportunities for TUELC teachers, admins and staff, and to foster their professional growth to promote effective professional practices at TUELC.
To design and execute a professional development plan that is aligned with TUELC vision and mission.
To direct, support, and foster the professional growth of TUELC faculty, administrators, and staff.
To assess and evaluate the training needs of TUELC faculty, administrators, and staff.
Award and recognize the outstanding efforts of TUELC faculty, administrators, and staff.
Planning and implementing all professional development activities at TUELC.
Evaluating periodically the effectiveness of all professional development activities.
Supporting teachers in their specific professional development in collaboration with the unit of Faculty Affairs.
Participating in the annual evaluation of teachers in collaboration with the unit of Faculty Affairs.
